Brandon-I'm at a loss to even guess what you might be seing here. It may be worth uninstalling the airplane, then reinstalling.Nothing about what you describe should cause a drop to 1fps- so I'm going to wager that you are really going to be looking for a different cause.Any new addon's installed recently? Scenery? New graphics drivers? New anti-virus?Something is causing that bog-down, but nothing about the airplane should do this of it's own accord....Sorry I cannot be much more help.

Robert,Its almost as if the simulator automatically locks itself to 1FPS when i load the PMDG 744 when it is still locked at 25FPS. I think i might follow your advice on re-installing the aircraft as i havnt made any changes to my computer software or hardware. Will let you know what happens.Brandon

Hi Brandon,Did you manage to fix it? I'm facing exactly the same problem! I did not fly the 744 for few weeks, I think I ran the v1.1 update in the meantime (not too sure). I was flying regularely the LD767, without any trouble. When changing type of acft today to 744, the 2D cockpit view was fluctuating between 1 and 3 fps!!! When activating the outside view, fps came back to normal (around 25fps)...Any idea?Thank you in advance.Jean-Marc //

Hi Jean-Marc,Yes, i managed ti fix it, it actually nothing to do with the PMDG 744, it was a recording device that did it however it only affected the PMDG 744 for some reason.Brandon

Hi all,Can anybody help me?Since few weeks, I did not fly the PMDG. I just tried again, and the fps is locked between 1 and 3, on the 2D panel, with the 747 and 737 series... It do not feel comfortable to uninstall/reinstall, it's a lot of work and I'm scared to do something wrong. When I change views in the cockpit (Overhead for example), the FPS comes back to normal...Others "non pmdg" aircraft work fine. Can anybody give me an idea?Thank you for your help.Jean-Marc //

Actually, this problem (though not nearly this severe) I have noticed as well. When I flip into the 2D view my framerate drops.Naturally I can fix this by lowering the LCD update rate... but I enjoy having 'smooth' displays too much. (But oh what I would do to get sub-pixel rendering like Reality-XP)

Unfortunately, it does not change if I try to change the LCD update rate...In fact, when I choose a pmdg acft, the panel shows up, the fps is ok (around 30), until the lcd/crt switch on (few seconds). Then the FS9 fps is dropping down to 1 fps, and stays locks at this value...Please heeeeelp !!!Thank you in advance!Jean-Marc //
