LOL having been on man commerical flights I often marverl at the use of the throttles form a passengers viewpoint.after a seemingly rapid engine dropoffI often think of the pilots need to work on his "bedside manner"LOLthanks for the responses on v/s vnavI guess vnav can been seen as "over agressive" at times LOLMike

So is climb thrust actually simulated in the FMC of the PMDG 737 and 747 aircraft, that is when the engines are at reduced power shortly after take-off for noise abatement.Thank you,Darren

Sure is on the 747. Dont have the 737 but I would assume it is the same. The settings are entered on the TO page.CheersSteve
