B1900D Kneeboard issue

Featured Replies

Vin, Thakns for the response. This appears to be a problem with all models, and textures. I've also found the same issue with the 737NG. Neither the Ref or Checklist works with it though. The PMDG 744 works fine. To test this, I went to one of my friends and asked him to load up the same aircraft, and he also had the same issue.

Having a problem with the Kneeboard in the B1900D. The ref appears fine, but the checklist will not appear. Saw two other posts with people having the same problem, but neither had a response. Chase Stigberg

Hi Chase.Thank you for your patience. I took a look under the hood of the PMDG 1900D, and it would appear that the livery installers are leaving out a small detail in the aircraft.cfg that prevents the checklists from openning inside the sim. This is a simple issue that you can repair yourself in a few minutes following these steps:1) Navigate to the Flight Simulator 9AircraftPMDG EXPRESS B1900D folder2) Open aircraft.cfg3) You will see a number of sections that correspond to each livery installed. Each section is labeled fltsim.#, where "#" corresponds to sequential numbers.4) Within each section (except those that correspond to the PMDG house livery), you will see checklists=beech_1900D_check". Simply change "checklists" to "kb_checklilsts" so that the line reads kb_checklists=beech_1900D_check5) Repeat for each section that is missing "kb_"6) Save and close. This should solve the issue for you. Vin, thanks for the reply. This seems to have corrected the problem. However, the problem also seems to occur with the 737NG. Tried the solution above, but didn't appear to work. Thanks!-Chase Stigberg

Hi Chase,Glad it worked out for you. As for the PMDG 737NG, back in the old days, we didn't include a reference file, but all the information you need is included in the PMDG 737 Next Generation Manual.Best,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg

Vin, Yes, I actually noticed this evening there was no ref file. However, there is a checklist that does not work. PMDGD737NG_CHECKThis file does not seem to work, like the 1900D, it's plugged in, but will not show up. THanks!-Chase Stigberg
