Configure flaps message in PMDG B747-400

Recommended Posts

Guest Johan Skanberg

Hi. When flying with the PMDG B747-400 when I increase the throttle the alarm buzzer sounds and on the HUD it says "configure flaps".I have tried setting the flaps correctly but obviously I'm doing something wrong. Does anyone have any ideas ?

yes. i have an idea.firstly, it's not a HUD. it isn't an F-16, see. it's called the upper eicas. secondly, i suggest reading the manual carefuly before posting a easy-to-figure-out question such as this.check your fmc, especially the take off data page, where you enter your flap requirement. then, extend the flaps to where it should be. voila. ipso presto, hopefully a safe t/o. remember, this isn't a POSKY plane.tjp.s. another suggestion. in the search page of the forum, type in "Tutorial", and you will see numerous discussions on where to get them. gl.
