Save Flight plan in FMC?

Featured Replies

All,I'm loving the -400F very much but had a quick question. How does one create a "company flight plan" which can be easily accessed (loaded) in multiple flights? In other words, is there any way to save those lengthy flight plan routes once entered into the FMC for repeated use? Thanks.

Rick,Once you have activated your route you have the option COPY RTE on the RTE page. Click on the corresponding LSK and the route will be saved in the %fs-root%PMDGFLIGHTPLANS folder.TO recall it enter the file name in the scratchpad for example KBOSKLAX001 and press the CO ROUTE LSK.Hope it helps,

Great! Thanks

I see you have plenty of replies but just for your info. You can create the route in FS Navigator. Assume it is Edinburgh to Frankfurt. Export the route to 2004 and then change the name to EGPH6EDDF7L. That tell you it is runway 6 Edinburgh to runway 7L Frankfurt. Then copy and paste this route into the PMDG Flight plans. On the scratch pad of the FMC type in verbatim whatever you called your route, then click the LSK at Co Route. Hey presto you have saved yourself about an hour. Hope this helpsJimmy

Jimmy,>click the LSK at Co Route. Hey presto you have saved>yourself about an hour. Hope this helpsHey. It takes you an hour to enter a route into the FMC???Cheers,
