Thanks Frenchy,I'll certainly look into that tutorial.I'll see y'all tomorrow. Wanted to get in a flight tonight but my energy just finally ran out. This gal is exhausted and going to go lie down with a book.Take care y'all!Heather

First of all Heather I'd like to thank you and all the others involved in putting this bird in the FS2002 skies.I do have one small request if you don't mind. When you do put together any fixes you have planned would it be possible to change the pilot figure to something more closely resembling your beautiful face? Maybe its just the mental image I have of you but somehow the pilot with the leather skull cap just doesn't seem right in your Pink Lady! :-lolThanks again,Pepe

Pepe I have to agree with you on that one!!that pilot just doesn't fit the image.Heather, FSSE I would say yes it's worth the money if your like me and don't know a darn thing about making scenery. You know you can d/l the free version and try it out. there's no time limit on it's usage but you are limited to put only 5 objects at a time in one place, but there is a way around that. what I think is one of the best features about it(pay version) is that gives you access to there Scenery library that other people have done and posted for downloading.like 62 or 63 pages of them with about 4 to 6 downloades a page. A lot of these people have some really nice scenery enhancements.I've gotten a lot of them already and there for airports all over the world. Some of them have even added towns and cities around the airports. What I like about it is it gives you the chance to put something at a lot of these airports and water bases that have nothing there to begin with except a runway.http://www.enter.net/photoalbum/data/reddog/596406.jpgUSMC Retired

I will see what I can do Pepe.I really would like to put a female pilot into more of my planes but just haven't got far enough down the list of my "To Do" projects to tackle it yet.Maybe it is time, eh?I'll try, but no guarantees. Anyone else feel up to this task?Oh, and RedDog, got the nice email this morning. Installed it, looks great. Took screenshots, in your mail.If you all like the Duck now, wait until the "New Improved Model" comes out.Bill Morad and Bob Familton have beed doing some fantastic work on a new panel. Also, there will be one more texture to choose from. You "Jarheads" out there will love the Duck in Marine Corps livery.Cheers!Heather

Found a nice protected cove near the main airport in Port Angeles. So Heather's Air Charter Water Base now sits in the cove.Modest really. Just a Floating Water Hanger with the waves lapping right up inside. Wooden dock with a static float plane and a rather sprawling Chateaux set back from the waters edge for parties and such. Has it's own NBD and it shows up on the GPS.Nice country. In real life it is right near the Ferry landing from Victoria.Think you will like it.Frenchy -- out.

Thanks Frenchy!Sounds great! That is indeed some beautiful country as I have been researching it with thoughts of relocating there within the next 1 to 2 years. Looking forward to seeing that Chateau from where I can sit and enjoy the local wild life, um, I mean wildlife.Cheers!Heather

Thought you might like to see a preview. Almost finished. May need to resize a few objects after flying around it a bit. The hanger is a tad large for the Duck as it was last used to house a larger water craft. But, this size will accomodate most Fs2002 water craft except the really large ones. Those are put in nose first. Also, will compose a readme giving proper credit to the freeware authors of whose work is contained within the scenery in addition to mine.Hope you like it.Errr -- hope the picture sticks. I don't do this very often.Frenchy -- out.

Just out of interest, have you ever stuffed your Duck into a web search engine? There are a lot of quackers out there ... here are just one or two ...http://www.swiremariners.com/Duck1.jpghttp://www.swiremariners.com/Duck2.jpghttp://www.swiremariners.com/Duck3.jpghttp://www.swiremariners.com/Duck4.jpghttp://www.swiremariners.com/Duck5.jpgI feel a repaint coming on ... I can't stop at the pink one, people will start talking ...Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv3.jpg

That first one is VERY similar to the "fifth" texture that will be available with the new upload. Marine Corps colors except I see on this one that the unit designation lettering has been removed.Frenchy, that looks GREAT! Can't tell you how tickled i am with you doing this for me.I'm packing the U-Haul truck now in anticipation of moving in.I could use some help people before my puter receives massive hardware failure due to bullet holes.I have doing my darndest the last hour or more to repaint the pilots in this thing. But it seems that no matter what format i try to use, when I bring up the plane in FS, the crewman is that blank white.I have tried using DXTBmp. The image does not show as an extended one.It comes up in my graphics browser as a 256 color 8 bit.I HATE giving up on anything but this is really getting frustrating! If any of you who have downloaded the Duck can play with that Pilot texture and send it to me in a format I can work with then send it back to put back in "whatever" it is. I would appreciate it.Or just tell me what format i need to be working in.Thanks!Heather

By the way, how DO you put up something to a search engine? Lord knows I have used them often enough, Google mostly, but I wouldn't have the first clue how to make something available there for others to find.Heather
