Long route, frame rate issue?

I've found when flying the 744, that when I have a long route programmed into the FMC, there is a strange "jumping" of the frame rates at the begining of the flight. Does anyone else encounter this and is there anything I can do to stop it?

Are you running the 744F as well? All patched up to the latest version?I had some issues like this early on but the first service release fixed it up for me.

Yep, I'm running the 400F and everything is up to date. I guess it's probably my PC can't handle the computing power that's required of a long route. Looks like I'm stuck with short haul :-(Martin
