December 9, 200619 yr I have flown this aircraft many times without a hint of trouble. Tonight I was cruising at FL360 and had been for about an hour when without warning both engines shutdown and I was unable to restart them.I do not have failures activated. The only recent system change is programming Yoke/Throttle Quadrant/Pedals thru FSUIPC and all was working ok with that.It just struck me as odd that the shutdowns would occur over an hour into the flight- fuel was not an issue. I was using wing tanks-all pumps on and quantity was 8000 lbs in each tank--center tank was empty and pumps off.
December 9, 200619 yr Did you happen to unknowingly move the fuel cut off lever on you CH Product Yoke?Ken Ken
December 9, 200619 yr Author I thought about that...and no. I actually have the fuel valaves assigned to TQ buttons and I was not touching ANY controls at the time...I was sitting fat, dumb and happy doing a crossword puzzle in my lap--away from the controls when it happened. It was the winding down of the engines that alerted me to the problem.
