737 localizer display

Hello,During an autopilot or flight director approach, upon localizer capture I noticed that the pfd loc scale did not expand. I believe it should expand when within half dot deviation. I checked the pfd options and did not see anything in regard to the loc scale. Is the expanded scale just not simulated in the pmdg 737s? Thanksfosl
