That looks fantastic! I’ve been testing my 9800x3d and I’ve come to find that cpu affinity left alone, with ultimate power plan and high priority works great. Testing that manually. Not sure why my pc likes smt, but it does. I had been using balanced plan all this time. With ultimate, my fps is the same but panning much smoother. With ultimate and smt off, massive stutters. With ultimate power plan and smt on, smooth. With the options shown above, that would make it easy! Thanks for your efforts. Easily one of the top apps for msfs.

Hello, Is there a way to disable only the cpu infinity portion of the optimizer? On my 9800x3d pc, I get significant stutters while only using 8 threads. thanks

Same here. I have the product key but am unable to find the original email. Been several years since I purchased v1. Pacsim needs a better system in regard to this type of upgrade.

I had significant stuttering and popping with a 9800x3d and a 4080 super. Swapped out the 4080 super for a 7900xtx. The issue stopped for me the very first flight in msfs 2024 with the 7900 xtx. That was in May. 6 months now and not a single audio pop. In my case, it seems to not like the amd /nvidia cpu/gpu combination.

True, as I never had these issues in 2020. Nor did my son have these issues in his games. For some reason the issue completely resolved itself with the 7900xtx in 2024. Now, the only time I use 2020 is when I want to fly pmdg 737. For all else, it’s 2024.

The sound crackles and stuttering were really bad for me when I had a 9800x3d and a 4080 super. Departing Klax was a nightmare. Sometimes the audio would crackle so bad it would ctd. Never on the ground while taxiing, only after takeoff. In early May I swapped my 4080 super for a 7900xtx. Have not had any sound popping since then. I wonder if the 9800x3d prefers amd gpu’s.

Happens to me if I use psxt with fsltl base models. Now using aig for the models and no longer have the issue.

Testing ray traced shadows with my new 7900xtx. In the fenix, I’m getting a weird flickering on the forward panel. Goes away when I turn off ray traced shadows. Any suggestions to improve this?

SU2 runs good till landing. Smooth stutter free flight, then on approach at approx 500Ft, starts to stutter. FPS still holding at 90 FPS. During taxi in panning is very choppy. No such issues during taxi out prior to takeoff. Happens at all airports, 3rd party and default. Also any aircraft, Fenix, A2a or default. Running 9800x3d and 7900 xtx with 64gb of ram. Other than that, I like SU2.

I have aig installed. Yep all worked great until a day or 2 ago. Not sure what I’ve done to break 2020. Working good still in 2024.

Been using psxt with msfs 2020 and 2024 with no problems until recently. Suddenly, msfs 2020 says "no liveries found" or "too many liveries to create". Still works fine in msfs 2024. Read several threads in regard to this issue and cannot find a solution. Any ideas to get this working again in msfs 2020?

I just recently purchased a dell aw3225qf 4k monitor. Im running a 4080 super and a 9800 x3d with 64gb of ram. Had to reduce texture resolution from ultra to high. Also disabled ray traced shadows and set shadows to 6144 in the conf file. I use auto fps to control tlod from 150 on the ground to 250 in flight. I am able to run 2024 with 16gb of vram very well with the above tweaks.

Reset my aw3225qf to monitor default. Now working in msfs 2024.

I’m using a 4080 super on 566.36.

I have the same monitor and I also cannot get the Nvidia sync indicator to show in msfs2024. I do get the green gsync indicator in msfs 2020. 2024 runs great until I get the occasional audio popping and stuttering. I wonder if gsync is working, but maybe just the gsync indicator is inop.

Confirmed I have Bijan enhanced for 2024. I lived in KELP for 21 years and did my Private Pilot training out there. Way too much bright green and poorly placed trees. Probably the sim and not Bijan's. Globs of large light colored trees in the desert east of KELP in the Southeast Practice Area. Overgrown and too numerous trees out near Montwood High School in El Paso. The Franklin Mountains full of green when in reality its just desert brush. Also, near KPHX, Camelback Mountain full of funny looking, over grown trees. Will attempt to post some screen shots next time Im using the sim. Maybe its something Im doing wrong, but in this regard, 2020 looks far more realistic on my system.

Been flying around the desert southwest in msfs 2024, places to include KELP, KABQ, KPHX and others. Immersion is completely destroyed by large, almost lime green trees in the desert where there is almost no vegetation in real life. No improvement with Bijans seasons. Any recommendations to improve the immersion killing trees? thanks

I have a 4080 super. I had issues with vram running the fenix and larger airports. Reduced texture resolution to high and now have good performance. VRAM climbs up to 15.4 gb, but running smooth lately. I’m very close to buying a 7900xtx for the vram, but the 4080 super seems to be doing good now. I would like the vram, but am worried about 7900 xtx vs 4080 super while below 16gb of vram. Gonna have to make a decesion soon!

I’ll try to get a screen shot next time I’m in 2024. On my system, 9800x3d 4080 super and 64gb of ram, the terrain between Klax and klas looks almost like I’m flying over white sands. Extra bright, very little color variation. Reminds me of some of the mega scenery earth I used to have in fsx. Do not have the issue in 2020.

I must be doing something wrong. Even with ultra settings in 2024, the terrain is washed out, ground seems not near as sharp as 2024. Often disappointed with the 2024 graphics.

I’m running a 9800x3d and a 4080 super. 2024 runs great till the 16gb of vram is full. Then a stuttery mess. I have adjusted settings between ultra and high and now rarely run out of vram. I’m thinking in my case, in hindsight, I should have got the 7900 xtx with 24gb of VRAM. Or should’ve just shelled out the money for a 4090. Either way, in my opinion the 16 gb of VRAM with the 4080 is the issue.

I have not experienced any of those issues with the ifly. Wonder if it’s a throttle binding conflict.
