It looks like PacSim quietly released their updated KSLC for 2024 (and v2 for 2020) yesterday.  If you own the previous 2020 version, the upgrade is free.

There’s some collision meshes used in the KSLC terminal interior for now when exploring with the Showcase Camera but I can get past those using the developer mode and developer camera with collide with scenery objects off-PacSim told me via email-prompt response from the devs as always:
"We added the collision mesh for now. Final update will come at the end of the year when the final phase of RW construction is complete. We will then add the finishing touches at the main terminal backend when all’s done with the final phase. It’s WIP at the moment since folks requested updates. "

Very pleased/impressed with the new KSLC update!

It doesn't make sense to me for the upgrade for 2024. It makes me feel like a dog jumping through hoops to get some sort of upgrade.

I purchased it but all of my SI AI are parking in weird spots, none of them are aligned with the parking positions and Im not sure if thats a SI issue or a PacSim issue. 

 

Nice airport however the hi-speed taxiways textures look awful.

It took about 30 seconds to do and it's free. 

I noticed the ai parking is misaligned as well and I'm using PSXT.

Sure it takes 30 seconds if you have the original 2020 download link email.... The whole idea that you need to find a random email from 4 years ago and respond to that then you get the upgrade for free is absolutely way more work than should be required..... They could send out an email to everyone who bought 2020 version informing them and making it easy to upgrade  but they dont.

Which to me says they want to make it difficult so some people just say whatever I'll just buy it again... Its the only reason to make an upgrade this user unfriendly.

I have my product key that I saved in a text file but it seems you need the v1 download link to request v2.

I wrote to PACSIM. Hope I can solve this.

Same here. I have the product key but am unable to find the original email. Been several years since I purchased v1.  Pacsim needs a better system in regard to this type of upgrade.

I'm in the same boat, I have the V1 serial key, but can't find a email with download link. Why would they require such a dumb method???

SI's parking positions are taken from an airport profile on their taxituner. They don't use your local scenery.

There is a profile someone made of the 2020 Pacsim KSLC you could select, that might line up better if Pacsim are still using the same parking positions in this release.

I no longer have access to my old email used to purchase this many years ago. Kind of a word not allowed move from Pacsim..

Because I bought it years ago, I have my serial and purchase email however you have to send it from the email you originally purchased from to get the new links? No other dev does this.

We will not entertain request for manual files transfer to another email not associated with the original purchased email.

I have the email and download link but you have to send it from the original email which I no longer have access to so im not buying it again.

Who would keep a email that has an expired download link for proof of purchase?? The original email with install key should be enough.
