  1. Yea part of the troubleshooting is making sure that the hosts file was fine, making sure a certain lines weren't in it. they weren't....
  2. After so many troubleshooting attempts also with msgs support, that suggested me after all the attempts to reinstall my OS, I did this small thing that solved this immediately don't ask me why and how it helped; I installed Map Enhancement Tool and selected Google Maps instead of Bing and immideletely after that the sim loaded. Thanks to all the people replied and tried to assist
  3. What is weird, is that i installed also msfs2020 to get back to flying meanwhile, but msfs2020 fresh install CTDing on loading.... I dunno what else to try
  4. you mean to install fs2024 on a different drive or a different location on the C drive? I also have a D drive but it is lower volume and guess I prefer msfs2024 to be installed in the same drive of the OS....
  5. Since every time it hangs i have to kill the process in task manager, every time i try to restart it it anyway asks me whether i want o start normal or safe mode. both don't results in completing load.... anyway, tried your suggestion and it didn't do anything.....
  6. After Steam updated MSFS 2024 to the latest SU3 beta build, I started the sim and tried to load a flight. It hung during “Starting Flight”, so I closed the sim and restarted Windows. Since then, MSFS 2024 no longer loads — it gets stuck at 97% on the main loading screen. Troubleshooting I’ve tried (Steam version): Disabled Steam Cloud and deleted local cloud data (userdata\<SteamID>\2537590). Deleted the entire %AppData%\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 folder. Searched for and removed UserCfg.opt. Moved Community folder out and renamed it. Searched for Official\Steam folders to remove possible corrupted core files. Verified game files via Steam. Tried offline launch. Tried starting with empty Packages location. complete uninstall and clean install with empty Community folder synced the time in settings reverting to official SU2 Nothing has resolved the 97% loading hang. Looking for advice from anyone who has experienced this after the latest beta update or knows of a fix. Thanks

  8. Yea this is exactly what I experience, only in msfs2024. It shows okay fps but stutters likes its 15 fps. And this increases overtime during a flight. changing planes or different sceneries don’t change it.
  9. Hi everyone, I'm hoping to get some help troubleshooting performance issues I'm having with MSFS 2024. I recently upgraded to a high-end system, but I'm still experiencing significant stutters and lower-than-expected FPS, especially compared to MSFS 2020, which runs flawlessly. Here are my system specs: * CPU: Intel i7-14700kf * GPU: Nvidia RTX 4080 Super * RAM: 64GB DDR5 * Storage: 2TB NVMe SSD (where MSFS 2024 is installed) * OS: Windows 11 * Nvidia Driver Version: 572.42 My MSFS 2024 graphics settings are mostly on Ultra, with DLSS set to Quality. I've also tried experimenting with DLSS Swapper and different DLSS versions, but the results haven't been significantly better. I'm running the latest version of MSFS 2024 (including the beta if applicable). Here's a breakdown of my performance issues: * MSFS 2020: Runs smoothly with Ultra settings, TAA, and Frame Generation at 80-100 FPS in demanding scenery like KJFK with heavy airliners (Fenix, FBW, PMDG). * MSFS 2024: Stutters and 40-60 FPS, even with DLSS Quality and Frame Generation. The performance is significantly worse than MSFS 2020, which is surprising given my hardware. Reducing visual quality isn't an acceptable solution for me. Here's what I've tried so far: * Updated to the latest Nvidia drivers (and also tried a clean install using DDU). * Installed DLSS Swapper and experimented with different DLSS versions. * Adjusted various in-game graphics settings, but the performance difference between 2020 and 2024 remains. * Optimized my Windows settings (HAGS, Game Mode). * Monitored CPU and GPU temperatures (no overheating). * Checked RAM usage (well below the limit). * [Mention any other troubleshooting steps you've taken, e.g., traffic settings, multiplayer, rolling cache settings, background processes, overlays, etc.] I'm at a loss as to why MSFS 2024 is performing so poorly compared to 2020. I'm especially concerned about the stutters, which make the sim very unenjoyable. Could anyone offer any suggestions or insights? Are there any specific settings I should be looking at? Is it possible there's a compatibility issue with my hardware or drivers? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, Yon
  10. I am not at home but i think its 2GB or RAM? how much difference does it make? Edit: These are the specs of my video card: Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 Manufacturer NVIDIA Chipset GeForce GTX 680 Dedicated Memory 2.1 GB Total Memory 3.9 GB
  11. Thank you! I dont know all the prices in my country yet.... but it may be okay. Will it be okay to stay with the GTX 680? I believe my bottle neck is the CPU....
  12. Hi all, I currently have P3D v2.5, with FTX (global+vector), PMDG 777,Aerosoft airbus, some Aerosoft airport addons and some FSDT addons. Using ASN for weather. I am getting pretty low fps - 10-15 fps in airports and sometimes over the air. With modest p3d settings as well. These are my current specs: Intel® Core i7 CPU 950 @ 3.07GHz NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 Memory: 8 GB Microsoft Windows 8.1 (build 9200), 64-bit A rather old computer case with many USB hubs malfunctioned already.... I am planning to get a new rig. Please assist me with some recommendations for specs that will allow to actually enjoy flying with smoothness and high fps.... don't want to play with that anymore. Just flying with high settings and use all of my addons without fps noticeable drop. Thanks in advance, Jonathan
  13. BTW - Even when I use a well created flight plan using pfpx for example, the issue with auto-cruise 8x/16x remains..... Did I miss anything?
  14. Hi Mike, Thanks for your responses. 1 and 2 are ok. The LOC and GS sometimes captures but during final at some point it will state NO AUTOLAND. Mostly I anyway make a manual landing but still.... And btw - works perfectly on airbus x ngx and leveld
