February 27, 200719 yr PMDG & FS2CREW - Rev Thrust Sound IssueSince recently loading up FS2Crew into PMDG 747 - I've landed the Queen in manual and auto several times at different European destinations, applied (F2) Rev-Thrust (RT), and instead of the usual engine spool up - I now only get a click noise from the engines, despite everything else operating perfectly OK, such as RT indicator gauges, speed reduction and the engine cowlings opening etc - Prior to loading up FSCrew program, I used to hear all four engines spool up when RT was applied.Just wondered if anyone else had had the same issue or any ideas to fix this issue????For information FS2Crew have said the following - **** "I'd say perhaps your sound card doesn't have enough juice to play all the sounds. Very hard to say, FS2Crew doesn't interfere with PMDG sounds, so that's all I can think of at this point." ****My sound card is fine as far as I'm concerned as I've never had any problems until now. Oh yes
February 28, 200719 yr Sorry Pablo, I don't have a fix but now that you mentioned it, I am missing my reverse thrust sounds too. I'm also missing a touch down sound that used to be played. I think it's the sound of the speed breaks deploying but I'm not sure. It's some sort of mechanical sound that plays as soon as my mains touch the RWY.I haven't tried RT after start since I didn't notice that until now. But I have really noticed my other missing sound since I have no other way of knowing if I touched down. I don't know if the sound card is the problem as I don't know computers that well. I'm interested to hear anyone else's thoughts on this.Ryan GamurotLucky to live Hawai'ihttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg Ryan Gamurot
