July 30, 200223 yr This brings up another point...When dumping over land, what about the people on the ground getting sprayed by fuel? Or is it such a fine spray that it's not detectable?
July 30, 200223 yr Dumping fuel over land is always done above a certain altitude (either 5 or 7 thousand I think) so as to allow the fuel to evaporate, that way it never hits the ground. Also when dumping fuel you cant have other aircraft near you because of the obvious fire hasard involved if you were to fly into it.Jamie
