I have a problem. In FS2002 no gates show up. Is FS2002 supposed to have gates at the airports? I see them on my friends comuputer, but not mine...any tips??

Cactus. Not all airports in the sim have gates depicted. Microsoft selected some for artistic rendering (expensive according to MS techs at EAA AirVenture), usually large international airports.The rest are generic terminals without boarding gates.However, depending on the horsepower of your computer, the gates' appearance in the sim is dependent on where your scenery sliders are set. The gates should appear when sliders are set around 3/4 and above. I'm not sure exactly where or which set of sliders it is. But you can experiment with the sliders in the settings area of the sim to let you see the ramps while still getting acceptable frame rates.Hope this helps.Rick

You need to have your Scenery Density slider set higher than Dense, and be at one of the few airports that has gates. ORD does to speaking of gates, how do you install add on gates?Tim Quayle Northwest Virtual Airlines et al - MSP

KSFO,KLAX,KLAS,KORD,KATL,EGLL and VHHH i think have "detailed" terminals and gates. And Tim, uh.. i don't know exactly what you mean, but you can install addon sceneries with gates ant terminals etc. if you want. I don't think there are any addons which include only gates (except for AFCAD files which are totally different).
