Hello folks!This question is pmdg ish because it's about flying B744's... I have come across a real BA checklist from a nice book by Bruce Campion Smith, its about a flight from LHR to HKG. In the Checklist it states regarding descent briefing: (this is memory items to aid the Cap

I assume that MSA is Minimum Safe Altitude (the same as it is in any instrument flight). This altitude is shown for all charted instrument flights, and is marked on the charts. I assume that the captain would check the chart and state the MSA.Bruce.
