As my system seems to be getting slower to start up I was wondering if it is possible to load flight plans into the folder where they are stored without starting up FS9 does anyone know. Like is it possible to type them up using a word processor and store them ?.

Dave,The .rte files can be handwritten, but it's very cryptic and would require you to enter in a bunch of LAT/LON numbers etc. Best bet would be getting something like FSbuild2 that can export in a bunch of different formats.
