Raising your pulse with the MD-11

Featured Replies

Robert, once the dust has settled from the MD-11 launch, could you and the team consider coming up, maybe monthly, with a mission? If you're already including missions in the package, you can disregard the rest of this post. This thought came after I read one of the early posts (now deleted) on the 'So what happens next' topic, where someone was pointing out the new challenges being opened up by an aircraft (the MD-11) that can get into the smaller airports. He went on to describe an exciting NDB approach to a short runway somewhere in Africa, I think.I fly your 737NG and the Level-D 767, and was considering your 747 for next year sometime. But although it would give me a different aircraft, it wouldn't open up new vistas. Having read that post about the MD-11, though, I realised that that aircraft would. But to get the most out it, it would make a huge different to me if, once in a while, someone could suggest a mission that would give me a challenge and maybe raise my pulse a notch or two. So in addition to you saying "Here's your new toy, guys - have fun!", you could add: "...and here are some of the great things you can do with it." (I use the word 'toy' in its most respectful sense, of course.)Bottom line: you believe the MD-11 will open up new vistas, so maybe you could lead us to some of them from time to time?CheersGeoff

Cracking Idea!I really enjoy the mission system in FSX, so a PMDG Extension to that would be excellent!

I mentioned this exact thing in May this year.. the FSX mission system would be a brilliant way to do tutorials and perhaps even develop the type rated courses around them..http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...ing_type=searchThere is the post..CheersCraig
