July 31, 200223 yr Hey Y'all,I have a problem that has me pinned down, grounded, frustrated etc. I recently rebuilt a system -- complete upgrade of motherboard, video card, processor etc -- to replace the trusty machine I have flown with for many years. FS2002 worked beautifully (but slowly) on the other machine. But when I loaded it on the new system, I now have full engine sound only for the Cessna. All sound files are present. Windows media player is installed. I assume that since the Cessna sound works just fine, I don't have a sound card problem or a volume setting problem etc. It just works with that plane and none of the others. Aaaaargh!Any help will be appreciated. I like that little Cessna, but not so much I want to fly it all the time.
August 1, 200223 yr Author Check your sound codecs, you may need to reinstall them. For Windows 98, use the add/remove programs, Windows tab, and search/select the appropiate areas for Audio Codecs. For WindowsXP, try a repair/recovery by inserting your WindowsXP CD into your Drive. Bill Sieffert
