PMDG 747 major install and AP problems

Featured Replies

OKI bought this add on on OCt 26th, I installed it downloaded some liverys and after trying a billion different times I was never able to finish a flight because my AP LNAV was so stuffed, it would work fine until the second waypoint ( if it was on a different heading), the plane would turn right to much then left to much and yeah, it would never straighten itself up again. So people on the FTG forum said re install it.Problem number 2, I go to my add/remove software thing to remove PMDG 747 un install sucesful, I go to re install it and what do you know it cant install any of the gauges it says error acces denied. So I just ignore and see what would happen I load up FS9 and here is my 747 with no gauges and no VC, what is the problem. After I uninstalled it I checked the gauges folder and the gauges were still there.I am using FS9PLease help me

Ok, the installer is fine now, I need help with my LNAV problem, look I do everything correct all my waypoints etc. I takeoff and switch on LNAV and AP after the first waypoint, the plane can never allign itself with the second it will just keep turning left and right to allign but it never does. Whats the problem

(1) Did you remove all discontinuities?(2) Was it from a flightplanner or manually keyed in?(3) The 767-300ER sometimes goes off the track when using it at 8 speed and it hits a series of tight turns-it then goes round and round in ever decreasing circles. Then its a case of replacing the current waypoint with the next one in line, provided it isn`t too close. It corrects its orientation and begins to track to the next waypoint. All its done is missed the current waypoint, and keeps turning to get to it because its programmed to do so. Could this be the same problem with the 747X?Reider
