rainwash and reverser spray effect

Recommended Posts

Guest QF744

Hi, Has anyone got the rainwash effect working correctly on the 747-400. I attempted to get it working but was getting constant puffs of smoke coming from the engines at any thrust level,at any altitude, and whether it is raining or not. To be honest i have found the instructions that came with the download rather confusing. If someone has got it working correctly on the PMDG 744 could you post your Aircraft.cfg to show how it is correctly installed. Thanks alot, Simon.

Are the engines smoking when shut down?If so, reload the aircraft with different engines. Reloading the same engines causes this problem.. due to FSX bug. It's talked about in the PMDG OPS Wiki area.

Hi, Firstly i am talking about the fs9 PMDG 744 not the fsx PMDG 744. No it does not happen when engines are shut down. What i really need is to see someone,s Aircraft.cfg with the rainwash effect installed so i know how to install it,as i'm sure i have just installed it incorrectly in the cfg file. Thanks, Simon.
