MD11 Failure Engine

Featured Replies

Hello to all! Will my precious MD-11 have a more robust failure engine than the 747? Will i be able to set for example, 10 random failures per calendar month, and even be able to save that failure setting in the panel state file? Thanks!Bryan

Interested to hear the answer to this as well. I don't currently own any PMDG products but I will be purchasing the MD-11 the second it's availabe, because the MD-11 is my favorite commercial aircraft.I've always been disappointed with most failures in FS9 though, not the failure modeling, but the fact that you basically have to choose between no failures, or 'deciding' if you want to have a failure on any particular flight. I don't want to dictate whether or not I'm going to have a failure, it want it to happen by chance, as in real life, and see how I react to it. Having a simple setting, such a "Chance of Failure" setting that you could set to a percentage, would be incredible.
