How to use DME Hold on B744

Recommended Posts

Guest Part Time Simmer

I am trying to set up the B744 for a departure out of LHR. How can I hold the DME from one VOR (LON 113.6) whilst displaying lateral information from another VOR (say BPK?)I know that this is easy to do in most aircraft - but I have never found a way of doing it in FS. I wondered if PMDG had addressed this area? Thanks for any advice.

Hi, (please sign your name to your posts, it's a forum rule)There's a few ways you can do this:1. Go to the FMC FIX page and use that to display DME and radial information from the two VORs.2. Look at the RMI gauge, you get needles for the two VORs here.3. Use the VOR page on the Capt and FO's NDs, both set to different VORs.
