May 22, 200818 yr I want to firstly apologize if this topic has been brought up before. I could not find it anywhere.I purchased the PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies I believe in 2006. This was my first Pay-Ware aircraft. After installing it I was not accustomed to FMC and began to study the notes. I fly FS9 in Windows Mode. Shortly after I installed the 747, I noticed that the top Menu of FS9 would disappear and trying to right click the mouse would not work to try and get it back. Most of the time this issue would happen on descent or final but it has happened on other occasions. I eventually decided to just uninstall PMDG 747 and do without it. I eventually bought another PC and once more decided to install my PMDG 747 as I thought with my faster better PC it would work fine but no, the same issues with the top Menu crashing continued. Is there any way I can get this resolved. I have run out of ideas as to what this could be.Any constructive help would be most appreciated.Greg.
May 22, 200818 yr Commercial Member When you say "top bar" are you referring to the bar that shows "FLIGHTS, AIRCRAFT, WORLD, OPTIONS" etc...? Or are you referring to the bar that shows the different panels for the PMDG 747-400?If it is the former, simply hit the "ALT" key.If it is the latter, click VIEWS> INSTRUMENT PANEL > PANEL SWITCHER.Hope this helps.Best,Vin ScimonePMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/priv/img/forum/sig_pmdg.jpg Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
May 22, 200818 yr I mean the Top Menu in Windows Mode. The Flight, Aircraft etc... This crashes all the time and FS9 freezes. This ONLY happens when the PMDG 747 is installed and I have the PMDG DLL file in the Module folder. If I uninstall the PMDG 747 and remove the DLL file from the Module folder all works fine.Reguards,Greg
