August 4, 200223 yr In the cessna 172 most of the gauges are missing, and any plane that uses its gauges, those are missing too. I checked in the gauges folder and they all seem to be there. Is there anything I can do without uninstalling the reinstalling FS2002.
August 4, 200223 yr One, did you replace the fs2002 default C172 gauges with an earlier version? Check the date of the files in your gauges folder, should be 4/17/2001 or 9/19/2001. If your are earlier, then retrieve the fs2002 gauges from your fs2002 CDs, using Winzip or another unzipping program. Search the *.cab files for the gauges. Two, Open you C172 panel.cfg file and look to see were the different gauges are pointing. Should be:gauge00=Cessna!ADF,545,86gauge01=Cessna172!Airspeed,145,56gauge02=Cessna!Altimeter,347,57gauge03=Cessna!Attitude,246,56If it have anything in front, such as:gauge00=NewgaugesCessna!ADF,545,86gauge01=NewgaugesCessna172!Airspeed,145,56gauge02=MygaugesCessna!Altimeter,347,57gauge03=YourgaugesCessna!Attitude,246,56then it is pointing to a different folder within your fs2002gauges folder, e.g., ..fs2002gaugesMygauges. If you have the proper gauges in your fs2002gauges folder than remove the extra information in front of each gauge. as in the first example or retrieve the fs2002 default panel from your fs2002 CDs. August 4, 200223 yr Hi Eddie,Another path would be to copy the original Panel.cfg from your CD and overwrite the one on your hard drive.Good luck,
