When the time comes, hopefully soon, how about a "pre-release" period of 48 hours whereby folks who already own another PMDG product can d/l it exclusively, say through an email notice?

What purpose would that serve? We have a very very robust E-commerce server now and there won't be any crashing servers etc if that's what you're worried about...

So disregard. Hey, no slight meant on the PMDG commerce resources etc. ;) I was just ASSuming that could have been an issue.

You'd be correct to assume, as it's happened with every other big release.

I don't recall any problems with the 400X release. The server's been upgraded again since then anyway too.
