FSX Trust DLL Policy

Hey guys,I have read the following on the PMDG ops about my problem with the PMDG 747X:Check if the HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionWinTrustTrust ProvidersSoftware Publishing registry key is set to 0x63c00. This value is Microsoft's WinTrust policy selection flags, as described here. The 0x40000 flag means "Allow only items in personal trust database" and apparently, this clashes with FSX's ability to allow manual authorization of unrecognized DLLs, telling it instead to never trust anything outside the user's personal trust.Unsetting this flag (putting it back to its default 0x23c00 value) returns all operations to normal and Flight Simulator X will once again be able to ask the user to designate the PMDG DLL modules as 'Trusted' software. How do I get to this registry key. I can't find it. And how do I open this kind of file? Can someone help me with this? Greetz,Dennis

Hi Dennis-this is a registry key. To edit your registry, you need to use the utility called "regedit" (which Windows includes by default, so you can simply call it in the "Run..." dialog box of your Windows "Start" options.I describe this problem fully at my blog, here:http://lkalamaras.blogspot.com/2007/06/was...r-own-good.htmlIf you need further assistance with this, don't hesitate to contact PMDG's support line at "support (at) precisionmanuals (dot) com".
