MD-11;The ATS disconnect, A/T arm command assigned on hardware does not work.

Hi all,Robert and co, first of all, congratulations! The MD-11 is absolutely amazing and already I have seriously enjoyed operating this sim! It is brilliant!I do have a very minor issue though at the moment,I don't seem to find anything concrete here on the forum about the problem with the ATS disconnect command coupled with the A/T arm command of FSIM used in hardware. So far I was able to setup the A/P disconnect command on the Yoke and that works fine. The ATS however does not seem to work.Is it possible that there is a bug in the programming of this command?Another small issue that I have was when I was swapping in between VC view to spot and wingview, sometimes after returning to the VC, all the instruments where frozen.Going to the 2D cockpit and back to VC resolved it though, This is most likely my graphic card though, a Geforce 9800GT.Thanks for any reply or feedback,Karel

Karel,a. Go to the FSX commands menu and see what is assigned to the A/T arm. By default it should be Shift+R. b. Check if pressing the Shift+R key disengages the ATS (try this in flight with ATS engaged). c. Go again to the FSX commands menu and assign the A/T arm command to a joystic/hardware button (on the second column). If (:( is working, © should be working as well.

Hi Michael,Thats exactly the problem, when I press shift+R on the keyboard, it disconnects the ATS, however when I assign a button on my hardware to shift+R nothing happens. My hardware is fine as well, the button works. It is a CH products Yoke LE USB.I tried to change the command in the PMDG menu but still no succes. My system is Vista and I have that tool for Vista installed, everything else works fine anyway. It's really weird.Best regards,Karel

Karel,This is an identified bug. It affects both the ATS disengage and the Go-Around events. Control assignments for these will only work when set from the PMDG menu, not from the FSX menu, so it is not possible to assign a joystick/yoke button to them. Will be fixed in the next update (that will be available when the FS9 version is released).
