Using Engine Sounds w/Other Aircraft

Featured Replies

Greetings All,What is the "alias" to use the PIC sound set with other add-on aircraft? I did some snooping this evening but I didn't have a lot of time and it didn't jump out as extremely obvious. I'm assuming it still works in FS2002 as it did in previous versions and all I need is a sound config file that says:(fltsim) <---parenthesis are actually bracketsalias=(fill in the blank here)soundThe default B747 uses the default 737 sounds and is set up that way.It reads:(fltsim)alias=B737_400soundIf anyone knows what alias I need to use to point other aircraft to the PIC 767 sound set I'd appreciate the info.Regards,Mike CollierKPHX

http://avsim.com/flightdeck/images/Radar_small.gifhttp://www.dispatcher.org|Dispatcher' target="_blank"> America West Airlines and proud to be a Beta Tester of[link:www.jdtllc.com]Radar Contact]The premiere ATC adventure add-on for FS

Hi Mike,The alias field should show the directory in which the desired sound.cfg file is located. Assuming that you've installed your PIC in the default directory (i.e. FS2002aircraft767 PIC Wilco Publishing), it should be the following:alias=767 PIC Wilco PublishingSoundHave fun!!http://www.cdf.toronto.edu/~g9foksun/Image...A_Signature.gif
