May 23, 200224 yr Are you saying you do not know how to set up a derate in the FMC or are you adsking what the derate should be? To set up a derate, please see the 1 or 2 pages in the manual that cover this. It will only take a few minutes to learn how to set the derate, very simple. To find out what your derate should be, there are airline/airport specific charts to calculate the exact derate. I suggest, for experimental purposes you stick with a derate of 55C-60C which should give you N1 ratings of around 98-100%.If you are using manual throttles, fine...but you are missing the fantastic automation of the A/T, very useful especially for takeoff ;-)Rob
May 23, 200224 yr The manual is very detailed and has good info!!!Thanks to ACA for answering the question.! Try flying with a fairly heavy aircraft. B767 do not normally fly around at 25% capacity...gets expensive...hard on the budget. Enjoy...!RegardsTony
