June 10, 200223 yr In View of the problems with running a Geforce4 4600 Ti with PIC 767 and the problesm reported in this forum, apart from turning off FSAA, are there any other options to overcome the reported problems? Also will the Geforce4 work in Win 98se, I am not happy about upgrading to Win Xp due to the very poor refresh rates as reported byhttp://www.xp-refresh.net/Best Wishes to all, chrisEGBB
June 10, 200223 yr Commercial Member Ok, the refresh rate problem in Windows XP is extremely easy to fix - there's a program you can get that will do it automatically. We've had to deal with this since the right after XP's release, it's Micrsoft's problem and they really should fix it, however it's not like you can't run anything other than 60Hz in XP - I have all my resolutions locked to 85 right now and it looks great! I think I found the program by asking on the forum at www.nvnews.net ...As for the panel blurring - I used to have that problem, but the latest official Detonator referrence drivers fixed it for me. I don't know what those did in Win9X though, it may not have fixed it for the older OS'es. I'd really suggest getting WinXP - you'll like it once you get everything set up - it's WAY more stable that Win9X could ever dream of being. June 11, 200223 yr Hi Chris,I have the GeForce4 and 767 PIC and I don't have any problems. I think people that had problems didn't have the latest drivers (I have 29.41). Regards, Pedro
