July 17, 200223 yr Hi, I'v been using PIC since a few months ago, and have really enjoyed the product. I purchaced it when the Patch for FS2002 came out (I never actually owned FS2000). Anyway reicently I went to reinstall the aircraft to get the Pegasus system on the advice of alot of people... however I didn't actually have the hardcopy of my product key (long story, but involves lending FS2002 to a friend and trying to find hard covers to put the disks in..) meanwhyle my PIC767 stayed with me... now when the install programme asks me to insert the product key, I ring up said friend and he finds the cover...okay the product key goes along...W767-E527 etc etclets say N for number and L for letter and - for -here is what my friend says the key is, formatt basicallyW767-E5NNNLLN-NLNNNNNNNEnter that in, double triple check and .... Invalid Product Id.Just asking one other thing, When the product was disinstalled, not all of the folders disapeared for some reason... FMCS is still there, as is the FS2002/Aircraft/Pic767/model.ba etc folders are all there with files there. Should the disinstall have deleted these and would that stop the aircraft installing. Also is that product key not a valid formatt? Perhaps we mistook a zero for an Oh somewhere? a 1 for an I... who knows. I should have the hardcopy by tomorow... and hope that I will find something easy like that... or something, and get it back up and running ASAP! July 17, 200223 yr Hi, "hopskip"I can't recall if I was having similar problems with PIC or another program, but what I was doing wrong was entering the key with the CAPS LOCK on. This particular program needed to see lower case letters.... noting here that it displayed my entries in Upper Case characters automatically as I typed them in). Using Upper Case letters simply confused it.Hope this helps.Cheers.Ian.
