Do I need the MCP-patch???

Featured Replies

I have the same question as Tabs:Is there any reason to install this if you don't have the MCP hardware?? Were any bugs fixed? Not that there are any big bugs in the PIC 767. But could this bug prevent my "vertical-oscillation"-problem that I sometimes have with my 767? If not, I guess I don

Some minor technical bugs are fixed, but nothing to do with panel logic or aircraft behaviour. So if you don't have the MCP, you don't need the patch.Regards,Laurent Crenier_____________________________767PIC Panel co-designer

Many thanks for the quick reply!Walter

Well, I tried applying the patch late last night and everything went to hell - I have no elevator control on takeoff now - it deflects full upward, and I got some wierd engine problems, like one engine reving to full power while the other one maintained throttle control... Were there any changes to the panel and aircraft.cfg's that could cause this for those of us using Lee's POSKY/PIC merge??

Out of curiosity (and because I thought that the "fixed minor technical bugs" could not hurt, too, I also finally installed the new patch. I just made a (very) short test-flight and could find none of the problems you reported. However, while I am using the POSKY visual models I do not completely use Lee
