I am just getting into the FMC part of this sim. and i programmed a flight into the FMC , took of everything was going smoothly until i hit 10000ft and then the plane refuses to climg any higher. i cannot seem to adjust the altitude window using the MCP - how do i adjust it?? do i have to do it via the FMC or is there another way? (man this sim is great but it sure requires an awful lot of studying of the manuals!!)

Hi,The a/c stops the climb at the first altitude constraint.So check:- MCP altitude (adjustable with the knob beside the reading, w/mousey)- alt restrictions beside WPTs in LEGS page of FMC- CRZ ALT in PERF INIT page of FMCYou will find that one of those was set to 10000 and that's why it refused to climb higher (assuming VNAV operation of course). cheers,Tero
