hi guys i am thinking of purchasing the PIC 767, however Wilco are coming out with the A320 soon, i havent been in F Simming for a few months and just getting back into itthe q is shall i wait for the A320 or purchase the PIC 767 right away?>:-hmmm

I was away from flight sims for a few months also. Now have XPPro, FS2k2. Nice on a P4! But...If I'd known what I know now about this 767PIC and the Airport 2000 v.3 I may have saved my money until I'd researched these programs a little more.I've gone to the maker's web site and requested help.....hopefully they can get this fixed. It would really be great to have things lined up and working properly! The "eye candy" is nice, but I prefer accurate airport placement where the ILS is lined-up with the appropriate runway instead of a building. Or, like when I started one of the 767pic situations where the plane was supposed to be at the gate...not through the terminal..Perhaps with this FS2k2 the 767pic just hasn't been matched up right yet. I did load the two patches that I know of.Oh well, it's just a game, eh?

yea sorry to hear you got abit of problems with your airports there, yea it may be just a game but this game does eat money, and with A320 perhaps a few months away and FS2004 perhaps 12 months away one has to consider the lifespan of these products,i am not saying these products are not worth their dough, i just think that with the new A320 coming out soon i should perhaps just wait cause i really like some of its features like walking around in the plane and stuff

Hithere are two issues here, first the 767PIC which in my opinion and the vast number of users on this forum is the number one aircraft ever produced for MSFS and remains so. Should you purchase 767PIC or wait for the A340? obviously the choice is yours but if it was me? and I wanted a SERIOUS aircraft system and knowing what I know now, I would have no hesitation. As for the A340 only time will tell its an unknown quantity. You state there are two patches there is only one patch for each version of FS, the second patch for FS2K2 is for third party applications only if you don't have the appropriate third party software it can screw up your system. Make sure you apply the correct patch to the correct version. As for scenery thats a MSFS issue and can be resolved in some cases with various updated scenery addons. FLY SAFELY wings737

Greetings,I had PIC767 in my addon library for some time and never really used it, UNTIL, one fine day, a distinguished and patient gentleman named Gary Norris took some time to show me the way.Now I say, "What was life like before PIC767?" Just like "What did we do before {Xerox] machines...and oh yes, computers!"It is probably the most realistic Panel on the market and highly recommended by this flight sim enthusiast.
