October 1, 200223 yr ...and speaking of Trim:I noticed a few days ago that the Trim pointer zooms rapidly off to the left and disappears offscale when you power down the aircraft.http://www.ozemail.com.au/~iriddell/767/Ru...TrimPointer.jpgTrim indication is a real oddity. The indicator pointer will move even though hydraulics are not available. The indicator only shows what position the electric trim actuator is in (not the rudder). This might be something for engineers to take note of if the aircraft is docked in a hangar: i.e. to make sure that the Trim is centered before switching on hydraulics.Cheers.Ian.
