lights for landing view

Hullo!Has anyone succeeded in making the ldg lts work in Pihl's magnificent landing view ?Regs. M

Nope... I have the same question... You can read my post further down.George DorkofikisAthens, Hellas

Yep... I 'm by far NOT an expert in cfg programming, but using a "common sense" view, the thing that caught my eye is that the vfr panel uses the default look_rear key to activate. What I mean is, even though the view point is changed to reflect forward view, does FS still consider that you are actually looking back (rear view) ?? HMMM...regs. M

Very good point here!!!I didn't think about it like this... Hmmm..I'll try to move it to a shift-x combination and see what goes...Phil, if you read this, maybe you can remove the big ADI and HSI views and place the VFR panel to shift-8 or 9... I don't know however what problems this might cause to the rest of the panel...George DorkofikisAthens, Greece

No, I don't think that is it guys. I DO get the lights to work most of the time. It seems to me that when i'm on taxi the light works great but as soon as I hit the runway they go off but then they come back on! I am working on this problem right now along with the no raindrop effects . Now I know for a fact that the fixed view for VC and side views do not have water effects . My Flight 1 PA-28-181 ARCHER II has a VFR panel that has both rain and lights. If I can fugure out how they did it we will be in bussiness.Best Wishes, crvm
