November 3, 200223 yr I'm sure this must be quite simple to solve but i couldn't find another posting on it this issue. My PIC clock is always 1 hour late... for example if I choose a flight beginning at 6 am, it shows 5 am in my plane clock...Does anyone know how to fix this?Cheers!
November 3, 200223 yr Doesn't PIC's clock show Zulu time by default? Any chance you are 1h east of Greenwich?Lee Hetherington (KBED)
November 3, 200223 yr I thought the same thing Lee but it's happening anywhere in the world... I fly mostly In Brazil and Europe... it's always 1 hour late...quite funny
November 3, 200223 yr There are some files availble somewhere that correct time zone discrepancies in FS, I have no idea where they're available from though - if that's any help :-)
November 4, 200223 yr yea, my PIC clock is 1 hr late aswell. . . dont notice it on my DF clock tho, or any other clock for that matter.
November 4, 200223 yr I notice this problem whenever I do my regular flight CYOW-CYYZ. It would appear that FS2k2 moves the PIC767 clock back one hour as you cross a time zone (westbound). Problem is....the PIC767 clock is in Zulu time and therefore does not need to change with the time zones FS2k2 (Bill Gates) says it does.I am guessing this is the way it is because MS Default aircraft clocks are set to local time and will always stay in local time as one crosses the time zones. This has been programmed in for your convenience ;-) This programming goof will also affect the PIC767 Zulu time clock...as far as I can tell, to the best of my knowledge, caveat emptor...blah blah blahThis is all speculation but seems to make sense. Thank Mr. Gates and his team for F'ing up another perfectly good part of the PIC767 panel.Rob.
November 6, 200223 yr I'll try that but this goes for the next version and of both PIC and FS, there's more than one time zone in the world! LOLCheers guys!
