PIC767 and FRAME RATE

Featured Replies

I've FS2002 and with all the plane I don't have any problem of frame rate, BUT this its going really slow, with the external view 5-6 fps, there are other texture or solution for this...? the panel is more or less ok 14-15 fps, but if I can improve,....why not?Happy landing!AndreaPIII 1 Ghz512mb ramGF2 32mb

Use PIC/POSKYv3 merge.Best regards,Guillaume

I've downloaded, but wich is the procedure to install the possky model without varing the PIC767?Thanks...

Did you get the PIC/POSKY merge file by Lee Hetherington (ilh)? If not, get that and run it. The included README will explain. If you don't know where to find the merger file, do a search on this forum for Hetherington AND/OR PIC/POSKY.

Thanks, but where can I get this file?...

Uhhh, how about actually searching on the terms I gave you. Try searching this forum for "PIC/POSKY" and you'll find the files. Here's a link just to prove my point: http://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...rum=DCForumID33

You expect people to actually enter the search terms you spoon fed them?!? The nerve of you not to just give them the link the first time. ;-)Lee Hetherington (KBED)

I've always wondered what kind of texture did Wilco use on their default 767 model for it to be such frame rate killer.

Thanks a lot I've install the posky model and now....16-18 fps average,....Andrea

They used BGLs (scenery textures) which just kill FS2002's graphics engine. Why did they use BGL's? Who knows!
