November 18, 200223 yr ATTN: Phil & Randy & othersHave you guys had any luck breaking the "lights- code" ?? I gather from previous posts, that the issue was narrowed down to view points, or something to that effect...Regs.-M-
November 18, 200223 yr Yeah thats seems to be the sticking point. Let me say that the major problem is the UPPER HALF of the main panel. See picture. This panel is causing me all the problems that I have getting the views and hight to work without hitting "shift + etc." It has the OUTSIDE VIEW "within its own window" so when you remove it it reverts back to that default outside view which I cannot seem to change. I don't know if Phil has done any better but I doubt it seeing how I have tried everything except the kitchen sink so far! It would be nice if Pedro would give us some pointers here. You can use it the way it is if you don't mind all the button pushing to acheive the correct view angles. Best wishes, Randy Smith Randy J Smith
November 18, 200223 yr RandyIt's late at night for me but if I understand you correctly I think you should be looking to change one of three numbers in this line....VIEW_FORWARD_DIR=3.5, 0.0, 0.0Can't remember which one, but I had the same problem myslef a while back and managed to fix it this way *I think*Rgds
November 19, 200223 yr If you remove the Upper panel from view no matter what you do it will not change. This "VIEW_FORWARD_DIR" only effects the UPPER PANEL's forward view not the default outside view. Take a look at the "wide view" {shift+w}. Now this is what we get when we try to add a panel to pic that is not on a "fixed window", like looking up, down, back etc. The minipanel is the same as "shift+w". So if there is some way to change the DEFAULT outside view {not when looking out of the default panel} we could do it. Randy Randy J Smith
