Q for Ian Riddell, BBall or HPSOV

>On the Honeyewell IVA81D IVSI with TCAS, when the range is >changed does the inner circle range change or is that always >2nm.I wasn't able to get to Air New Zealand this week to check this out, Mark, but I did find some info in their manuals.... Yes, the range mark does represent 2nm at both scales. From the description in the manual, it may also be telling us that the circle moves downwards (but it doesn't mention if the aircraft symbol changes size).Anyway, if I get the chance {i]next[/i] week, I'll see if I can come up with a diagram/photo.Cheers.Ian.
