November 27, 200223 yr Hi everybody!I have a real flight plan from ABSA, a brasilian cargo airline that has one 767-300F. It is a flight plan from SPIM to KMIA. This flight has a payload of 57000 kgs and the operational weight of this 767 is 83000 kgs which gives me a ZFW of 140000 kgs. My question is, I can`t insert this ZFW at PICs FMC, why this is hapening??Thanx
November 27, 200223 yr Hi danifg,The maximum ZFW for the 767-300ER, which the PIC is modeled after, is 288,000 lbs / 130635 kg. The entry you're trying to do is 20,647 lbs. / 9,365 kgs. over the max allowable by the -300ER FMC. That being said, I don't know the max ZFW of the -300F.Cheers,JohnBoeing 727/737 Mechanic
November 27, 200223 yr HI,I had the same question once but then I red somewhere that the MZFW is equal for the Freighter and the passanger version. The only difference is that the BOW (Basic operational weight), means no cargo, no passegers and no fuel is different. As far as I know the BOW of the 767-300ER as passanger version is 196,000 lbs. Now the payload for the cargo version is 60,000 kgs as Boeing states, so what you have to do is just to take the MTOW of 288,000 lbs and substitute the 60 tonns and you should have the BOW of the 767-300F. Now that is also logical if you think that the freighter doesn
November 27, 200223 yr I did a little research and here is a site with some specs.http://philippe.caye.metelec.org/b767-300.htmIt would appear that the MZFW for the 300F is 140,160 kgs. / 308,722 lbs. A nice increase of more than 20,000 lbs over the passenger version. This is the main reason why the -300ER FMC would not accept those ZFW figures.Cheers,John Boeing 727/737 mechanic
