December 13, 200223 yr On rare occasion, subtle nose up and down pitch after a major data refresh in Meteo causing the altimiter (relative to the readng on the ground below) to shift dramatically.99.99999% of the time I climb and level off like it is on rails...bit of variance dependant on temp and winds at altitude during the climb. The bird is solid, just an occasional blip caused by meteo weather me thinks.Rob.
December 13, 200223 yr Perhaps I don't see this due to aggressive barometeric pressure and wind smoothing settings in FSUIPC.(Rob, I actually got on VATSIM last night around 0100Z but didn't see you or Mr. AAL327 around. I ended up doing VFR pattern work in a C-172 at KPWM with a voice tower. That seemed very familiar.)Lee Hetherington (KBED)
December 13, 200223 yr You have your settings at I think 5 secs/kt or mb...I think mine are at 2 secs...might curve any big changes in meteo from stn to stn.Ya, it was hockey night for me...I'll be on tonight 2300z - 0800z (+1)2300z CYOW-CYYZ0001z CYYZ-CYQT0300z CYVR-KSFO0500z KSFO-KLAX/KDEN/whatever.0800z pass out.Rob.
December 13, 200223 yr I guess this means that my passengers have to use their air sickness bags during climb :-)WalterP.S.: Inspite of this it is still the best aircraft add-on available!
