December 18, 200223 yr Could someone help me install my PIC 767 on the new Windows XP platform from Microsoft! I loaded FS2002 and don't know what folder to download the PIC767 software disc to. I initially loaded it C:ProgramFilesMicrosoftGamesFS2002 but got an error and it would not load at all. Should it have been downloaded into C:ProgramFilesMicrosoftGamesFS2002Aircraft ??Also, Should I download and install the 767pilotincommandpatchfs2002 before I download the PIC767 software disc or should I do it after I download it into the proper folder.Any help here would be greatly appreciated since I recently updated my computer from Win98 to a new computer with WindowsXP..One more question, Where is Microsoft Explorer where you can see all the program files and folders with their individual sub-directories? It was in Win98 but doesn't seem to be located anywhere in WinXP version...Regards and thanks,
December 18, 200223 yr You will need to point the setup program to your FS2002 main directory. What do you mean "downloaded"? Do you really mean INSTALLED TO? The first way you have it was the correct PATH if in fact you have FS installed on "C". DO you have Administator rights to install? This sometimes happens when you are logged in as a guest or anything other than ADMIN.The Install program will ask where you have "FS2000" installed to. BUT just use "browse" to locate the "FS2002" main Dir. Do not install the updates the disk has. You will need to download the FS2002 update patch, it is 3.6 MEGS in size and its on Wilco's Web site. Windows Explorer is located here on the screen shot for XP. Randy J Smith
December 18, 200223 yr Randy, Thanks for your reply. I meant to tyope installed to FS2002 directory. Again, thanks and Happy Holidays.
December 18, 200223 yr If by chance, you can't open the Windows Explorer the traditional way, (it didn't work for me ) then right click on Start and then click "explore" That worked for me.
