Failure after 3 Hours flying IFR

Featured Replies

Why is it after 3 to 4 hours flying on the auto-pilot, does the wonderful PIC B767 aircraft suffer from total electronic shutdown? What am I doing wrong. All my PIC failures are disabled, and realsim is set to easy, as I am still learning how to fly this wonderful plane. This is about the 10th time I have had this, and it is beginning to really tick me off ! it was so bad today, as I couldn't re-start the engines, so I had to revert to my PSS B744 on my final leg from KSFO to KLAX.Many thanks and Best Wishes to all,ChrisEGBBWin XP AMD 2100 XP, geforce4 4600 TiDirectx 9.0

What is your fuel status and what is the flight plan?

normally upon electronical shutdown, don't engines continue running?i think electronics failure doesn't interfere with engines, except the EEC's of course...

"and realsim is set to easy" Would this also include unlimited fuel? What exactly shuts down?Best Wishes,Randy J. [email protected]" A little learning is a dangerous thing"

Hi Mike,The fuel was unlimited, and the flight plan was KORD-KDFW-KSFO-KLAXThe total systems shutdown, (engines, Hydraulics, and electronics ~ screen the panel couldn't show any instruments working) happened about an Hour after departing KDFW.Many thanks for your help which is greatly appreciated!Best Wishes,Chris
