Taking Off with this plane..

Featured Replies

Hi everyone..I just purchased PIC and after using Dreamfleet 737 program and wanting to try this one out. I'am having an awful hard time trying to take off with this plane.. The plane does a nose up and the tail of the plane is still on the ground and just keep stalling. Been messing with it for 2 days now. Tried triming and nothing is working. can someone please help me..

What are the flaps set to? What is the TOW? At what SPEED are you rotating? Give us a more clear example of what exactly you are doing etc so we can answer you better. Best Wishes,Randy J. [email protected]" A little learning is a dangerous thing"

Check your trim. If you try to take off with max allowed nose trim UP this will happen - and that's how it's set when you load up the panel.

Hello, I've seen this problem before, the solution is to easy on the back presure stick abit while rotation. As I've seen somewhere in the manual the plane needs about something like 2 degrees per second pitch movement while rotate or else you'll never leave ground b4 it's too late. In short, rotate a bit more slowly and you'll get a nice climb.

I had a similar problem with PIC some time ago. The problem was that for some reason my CH Flight Sim Yoke commanded full pitch up in FS though Control Panel didn't show any noise or unwanted movements on it's axises. The fix was to turn on "Control spike elimination" for all axises and also the "Fix control acceleration" on FSUIPC's Technical tab. Try that. You know that this is the problem if your status page is showing odd movements on the pitch axis.

http://mikael.svly.net/mikael.gif

fisd.fsnordic.net]
[/TABLE
