I am new to 767 PIC. I bought the disk and loaded it up. Then I went and loaded the patch to make it work for 2002. Everything worked fine except I cannot "transfer" a FS2002 Flight Plan to the FMC in 767 PIC, even with the new patch. Can someone help?ThanksHarold

I dont do this anymore.....the usual story...real pilots dont..bla, bla bla. Now I program the FMC from scratch. However, when I used to do it, I found that you had to export FSNav flight plans to FS2002 twice....first to the "Myflights" folder, and second to the "Pilots" folder. Took many fustrating nights to figure that out. Once they are in BOTH folders it seems that the FMC gets it with no problems.Anyway, that was one of the reasons why I stoped doing it that way. That's my situation though.Lagaz

You have at least four options available to you.1. After creating and saving the flight plan in FS2002, go to your FS2002flightsmyflts folder and manually copy the flight plan over to the FS2002FMCWPNavDataFlightPlans. Note that there is a specific naming convention for flight plans and you're limited to 10 characters.2. If you have FS Navigator, you can export directly to the FMCWP folder by installing the Flight Plan Export Module for 767 PIC available on the Downloads link of the FS Navigator website. 3. Again if you use FS Navigator, you can edit your FlpExport.ini file located in the FS2002MODULESFSNavigator folder to point to the FMCWP folder instead of the default FS2002 flight plans folder. 4. Most of us use FSBuild, a freeware flight planner that exports plans in a variety of formats including 767 PIC. FSBuild will automatically place the flight plans in the correct folder so it could be read by the FMC. You can find FSBuild at http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/a...er1/fsbuild.htm

Thank you, This is most helpful. FSBuild sounds like something I should investigate. Thanks for a very quick and thorough answer.

Go for FSBuild. If you fly on line, if you fly PIC767, if you fly PSS series, if you fly Radar Contact, etc.... FSBuid will save the right flight plan format for you.Great software for free, and the next version, which will be shareware, will be on my shelf !Bien amicalementMichelKSEA/AFR011

Hi Everyone,After going through all four of these options, my experience has been that option 4 is the most reliable. I use FSNav to create the flight plan, which will store it FS2K2/Myflights folder. I need that for Radar Contact to build its flight route. Next, I use the import function of FSBuild and then let it buiild the PIC767 formated flight plan. Has worked flawless on flight all over the world that I have flown with the PIC767.CheersBob Johnson
