Cycling Autopilot

Featured Replies

Why all of a sudden does my autopilot start cycling on and off after liftoff along with the assosiated master warning? I have tried reinstalling PIC and the 3.6 mb patch to no avail. Is this the correct patch? Jim

Are you making any control inputs during this time?

No

I recalled your previous post in which you found no help for this problem. http://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...rum=DCForumID33 Maybe we are not understanding your question good enough B1900. Please tell me exactly how you start your particular flight, Trim, flaps etc. When you say "cycling" do you mean that it engages then disingages? At what height do you engage the A/P? When you get the master warning, are there audible warnings along with this? If you can show me a screen shot of this when it happens it might help us narrow this problem down for you.Best Wishes,Randy J. Thank's for the reply Randy, I follow the checklist for startup and pre takeoff and upon rotation and liftoff the autopilot cycles on and off along with the audible master warning and glare shield light. I am stumped.

Would you mind trying to load one of the default flights , say the "Takeoff" and tell me if you still have that problem?Best Wishes,Randy J. [email protected]" A little learning is a dangerous thing"AMD XP2100 |MUNCHKIN512 DDR RAM |ECS[/b ]K7S5A MB |[b]GF364 MEG |WIN XP PRO

It happens with the ready for takeoff at JFK scenerio, Or if I put together a Flight from scratch.

The only thing I can think of my friend is that you have a corrupted install which is not being corrected upon re-installing. Here's what I would do. 1] Un-install. Then, manually remove the Wilco file folder left over that the un-install did not remove. 2] Use this in-stall cleaner patch from wilco; ftp://ftp.wilcopub.com/W767Cleaner.exe 3] Make sure you do not use any patch of the cd, just use this one; ftp://ftp.wilcopub.com/767PilotinCommandPatchFS2002.exe 4] Cross your fingers!Best Wishes,Randy J. No Luck.

I reinstalled Win-Me,All the updates, MS2002, PIC then the 2002 patch from this site http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/efpanels/ Also tryed the patches from Wilco site. I have been flying this aircraft on this system since it was released for 2002! Are all the patches corrupt?!This is my last attempt. I guess I will wait for PMDG 737!
