February 8, 200323 yr Every time I come in for a landing, my aircraft bounces at least once. Even with minimal fuel and a reasonable speed i.e.135-157 depending on weight, it's the same outcome. I remember reading about a solution somewhere, but I just don't know where. If anyone has a solution, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
February 8, 200323 yr What's your pitch indicating on T/D? Are you floating before T/D? You can try my VFR panel if you want since it helps in this regard, just email me if you want to give it a shot. Best Wishes,Randy J. February 8, 200323 yr 'preciate' the gesture, but my config is little more complicated than that. I am using wideview with a 5 monitor view. I have a seperate pc/view for the gauges. My angle is pretty normal no more than 10 degrees upon flare. My problem is the touch down itself, in that, no matter what speed or descent rate, I am still getting a bounce instead of a smooth one-drop main gear landing. not to say that my landings are always smooth. :-lol hee hee. Please help.
February 8, 200323 yr " My angle is pretty normal no more than 10 degrees upon flare" Ah that's a bit high don't you think my friend?? Why not try 3-6 at most.Best Wishes,Randy J. February 8, 200323 yr I seem to get them too using the merge files, even though I come in correctly and pitch is at about 5 degrees. Can't test anything right now because my HDD is shot and I'm waiting for a replacement.
February 8, 200323 yr At what height are you retarding your thrust levers to idle? I used to make sure they where absolute idle at 30ft, but now I tend to fly the aircraft onto the runway, the thrust reaching idle at about 10ft.Cheers[br][/img]
