February 11, 200323 yr Hello, I recently flew KEWR-LFPG with the COA 762 from Posky. and obviously the PIC panel. I used the 762 PIC/POSKY converter thing. When I was starting my NAT crossing, my computer froze, so I restarted and continued, but my joystick had no imput and the plane continued to dive and I checked everything. So I restarted once again. Then on landing, I increased my RoD-rate of Decent- by about 200fpm and instead of having 600fpm I had 4000! the plane decided to nose dive, could this be because of a Nose heavy situation? If so, can someone help or can tell me how I can fix this problem. thank you."... AND I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!"[b/]
February 12, 200323 yr I just flew to LFPG also but from KORD with the UAL 763 PIC/POSKY merge. How strange to hear that your computer froze, mine did it twice, once at ORD at the gate the other over time over Iceland. I have since installed nVidia driver 30.82 instead of the 41.07 I was using with my GForce 4 4200Ti. I am not sure what caused this freeze but something went wrong. Now for the approach problem to LFPG, I was, emphasis on was, using the new Wilco APv1 LFPG scenery. As a point of interest I also have my AI settings at 50%. On final approach to runway 27R at LFPG my PIC went into an uncontrollable descent. I kicked the AP off and then I could bearly control the aircraft. Later I did the same approach with the AI set to 0% and it was a normal approach. This has never happen at any airport in the world that I fly. Cannot explain what is wrong at LFPG.The other issue that you raise 777, why did your computer freeze. I run in full screen at 1280X1024X32 resolution. I find this much more distrubing. I flew back today from LFPG to KIAD, one freeze prior to the installation of driver 30.82. I saved the flight prior to the freeze started from that point with no problems going into KIAD, but that was only 2 hours out of KIAD.These are two very strange behaviors, would appreciate any input from others.CheersBob Johnson
